The job of a Studio Manager is to manage the studio's team, plan resources, coordinate team work, and manage the budget. Additionally, they collaborate with the creative and production team, monitor production processes, maintain relationships with clients and external suppliers, and support and lead the team to achieve project goals.

**Duties and Responsabilities**
- Manage the daily operations of the team in the studio, including resource planning, staff management, and budget management.
- Coordinate and manage the staff, including supervisors, artists, technicians, and other team members.
- Collaborate with the creative and production team to ensure that creative ideas are feasible and executed effectively and efficiently.
- Plan and manage the studio budget, working closely with the administrative team to ensure that expenses are appropriately managed.
- Constantly monitor production processes to ensure that work is executed effectively and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate project planning, resource management, and work distribution among the staff.
- Ensure that the team has the latest and most relevant equipment and technologies to perform work effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients and external suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure that project requirements are met.
- Provide support and leadership to the team, ensuring staff training and development, performance management, and conflict resolution.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in VFX production, with at least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Good knowledge of VFX software, hardware and techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve project goals
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong budget management skills, with experience in budget planning, tracking and reporting
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Ftrack or Shotgun
- Ability to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in VFX production, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements and innovations.
