Business Planning and Market Insights

Vifor Pharma a leading Global Nephrology, Iron Deficiency and Cardio-Renal pharmaceutical company, we are experiencing rapid growth due to pipeline realization and optimization. At this time in our Barcelona office we are recruiting within the Business Planning and Market Insights group to work closely with the Director of Marketing and associated cross function colleagues within sales and marketing both locally and Globally to help lead the development of insights generation and business plan analysis for key commercialized lifesaving and life improving medicines within our portfolio for the Spanish market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the processes of market and potential data management from inception to its transformation into value adding reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations on markets, competitors, customers and patients to Brand teams and the omnichannel team, to help develop strategic and operational tactics.
- Manage the general processes of market research/business analysis and ensure compliance with compliance standards.
- Manage and track the market research budget and data providers (External Vendors).
- Collaborate with HQ, encouraging the exchange of best practices and collaboration in the forecasting, competitive intelligence, advanced analytics and the market research community.

Tasks
- Develops the processes of extraction, transformation and creation of market reports through Excel or Power BI according to needs.
- Manages the objectives, internal sales and achievement of retail products by territory and hospital account.
- Leads the exercises of potential accounts by product and therapeutic area, and collaborates in the realization of the respective drop off of the brands.
- Supports the process of creating the brand plan, performing situation analysis based on the market to identify problems / opportunities and strategies / actions to address them
- Manages the process and budget of local market research/business and budget analysis.
- Coordinates competitive intelligence activities within the Spanish affiliate, in collaboration with the Global team.
- Develop presentations and communications with clear arguments, as well as concise conclusions and recommendations for the organization and brands.

Minimum Requirements
- University degree or higher education degree(s) in marketing or market research
- Understanding of analytics and business cases.
- Knowledge and experience managing databases in Excel
- Research capacity and experience with primary market research methods/techniques (quantitative and qualitative).
- Knowledge of questionnaire design, data analysis techniques and statistics.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Computer skills (MS Office).
- Professional level of English, both in oral and written communications.
