At Smallpdf you will take ownership over the back-office infrastructure and the distributed IT Operations team enabling your colleagues, your team and yourself to excel at their job.

Responsibilities & Duties: *
- Represent and drive the internal IT
- Build and lead a distributed IT team across 4 locations
- Gather coworker requirements, find optimal solutions, and drive their implementation
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, etc..
- Drive automation within IT processes, including hands-on work
- Inventory management and budgeting
- Enhance processes and documentation with an eye on security
- Ensure the availability, security and confidentiality of IT systems

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on IT management experience
- Ability to gather coworker and company requirements and build a compelling vision for the internal IT
- Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple teams and drive parties with conflicting priorities to a decision
- Knowledge in managing SaaS apps such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Microsoft 365 as well as AWS and on-premise infrastructure. Further technologies we use include Fortinet, LastPass, Jira Cloud, Torii, Miro, VMWare, Linux, Windows Server, and many more.
- You know your way around MacOS or Windows, with the ability to fill in gaps in knowledge where needed.
- Fluent in English (German, Spanish, or other additional languages are a plus)
- Either EU Citizen or Valid work permit to work in Spain
