Development of rubber compounds.
- Chemical analysis, rheological and mechanical properties of current materials from Switzerland
- Develop and improve these materials and products, and also validation and approval of alternative ingredients or materials.
- Create the rubber compound recipes and specifications for calandered sheets and rubber coated fabrics
- Manage the production of samples according to a timing plan with the suppliers and the R&D team
- Responsible for testing. Manage the mechanical tests of rubber compounds in order to assess and verify the options and proposals.
- Define with the laboratory technician the tests to be done.
- Define with the R&D team the tests to be carry out on flat belts.
- Analyze the data from testing and compare them with the original results
- Industrialization of calandered compounds. Organize with the suppliers the production set up of calandering process, as well as attend the first trial runs. Manufacturing follow up to define the final specification.
- Industrialization of rubber coated fabrics. Organize with the suppliers the production set up of coating process, as well as attend the first trial runs. Manufacturing follow up to define the final fabric and coating process specification.
- Attend process set up and trial runs of belt production for the adjustments and improvements
We are looking for dynamic person, proactive, analytical and skilled to look for relevant information for development. Perseverant to carry out the R&D projects. Organized and methodical person clearly focused on target completion and able to work in a team.
