**Quick facts about the open position**
- You will be part of Plug and Play’s EMEA Events Operations Team. This small and effective 4-person team supports our client-facing events in all 24 EMEA locations (including launching new locations), runs large employee facing events, and organizes Plug and Play’s presence at large corporate events and startup events.
- You will be based in our EMEA headquarters in Valencia, Spain.
- You will travel occasionally to our offices across the EMEA region.
**You will be responsible for**
- Organizing Plug and Play’s presence at large Corporate Events and Startup Events
- Research and evaluate constantly Corporate Events and Startup Events in the EMEA region regarding Plug and Play’s participation
- Coordinate with our teams across the EMEA region regarding their participation and their level of involvement (e.g. speaking engagement, exposition booth)
- Work with our Marketing team to produce events material (from brochures to exposition booth design)
- Manage the look and feel of an event (branding, props, collateral designs, etc.) and prepare events material in collaboration with our PNPTC Marketing Team
- Arrange events for our portfolio startups and investor network at the Corporate Events and Startup Events
- Invitation management and attendee communication (startups, corporations, investors, ecosystem system stakeholders)
- Manage all event operations and logistics
- Be responsible for schedule, budget, controlling and forecasting
- Run post-event evaluations and create post-event reports
- Build relationship with the organizers of Corporate Events and Startup Events
- Planning major employee-facing events (such as the yearly EMEA All Hands)
- Design the structure and agenda of the events
- Research vendors (venues, catering, AV providers, decorators, photographers, videographers, etc.) and choose the best combination considering quality and cost
- Coordinate internal and external speakers
- Invitation management and attendee communication
- Manage all event operations and logistics
- Be responsible for schedule, budget, controlling and forecasting
- Manage the look and feel of an event (branding, props, collateral designs, etc.) and prepare events material in collaboration with our PNPTC Marketing Team
- Run post-event evaluations and create post-event reports
- Contributing actively to quality assurance and reporting of our events
- Create “EMEA External Events Guide”
- Support in creating and refining the “EMEA Internal Events Guide”
- Supporting in refining the “New Location Launch Guide”
- Support in creating events reports

**ABOUT YOU**
**Your credentials**
Education: You hold a Bachelor’s or higher degree - ideally in events management, business administration, communications, marketing or similar fields.
Work Experience: You have proven experience in event management, project management and/or hospitality management having successfully organized numerous large events for at least 2 years.
**Your passion, skills & abilities**

Communication skills: You have excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills.
Language skills: You are fluent in English (verbal & written)
Project Management: You have the ability to manage several projects at once providing excellent results with mínimal to no supervision.
Time & Self-Management: You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and you have outstanding organization and multi-tasking skills.
