**Distribution Management Lead**

**PURPOSE**

The Distribution Management Lead acts as main point of contact for Product team leaders regarding mission and targets focus related to intercompany order management and logistics execution. The Distribution Management Lead supports Distribution Management and Import and Export Document management team where required for optimal excellence towards the mission Health for All. The Distribution Management Lead monitors the on time, cost efficient and GDP compliant transports of raw materials, bulk and finished products and is capable of driving process improvement within the global logistics management.

**YOUR TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES**
- Support the distribution management senior experts by coaching and counseling them on their day-to-day activities, managing exceptions together with the team and acting as a catalyst for „roadblock removal “
- Establish performance oversight (incl. reporting)
- Manage group escalations
- Ensure order to invoice cycle, timely delivery of goods to customers in line with agreed metrics maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate timely and optimized shipments based on provided prioritization plan in alignment with Product teams
- Contribute to new routings, lanes or product launches setup
- Support and coordinate Continuous Improvement Initiatives

**WHO YOU ARE**
- University degree in business administration, logistics or supply chain
- Working experience (+5 years) in supply chain and logistics, preferably in Pharmaceutical or similar industry
- Sound knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics
- Very good background in transport planning and general understanding of forecasting
- Very good understanding of legal, regulatory and GMP/GXP environment in FMCG & Pharmaceuticals distribution.
- Knowledge of SAP R3 (SD / MM Module), WMS knowledge desirable
- Dangerous Goods training and certification is a plus
- Very good skills in communication
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent customer focus and stakeholder management
- Proactive approach, action oriented with the ability to solve problems and set priorities.
- Ability to drive projects with medium and low complexity.
- Language: English fluent; Spanish or German is a plus
