**About the role**

Are you up for the challenge of striking the right balance between business expansion and financial stability? We're in search of a **Product Manager** for **Risk** who can master this delicate balance. Your primary goal will be to manage risk in a way that maximizes customer approval rates, all while ensuring our financial risk stays at a sustainable level. But that's not all; you'll also spearhead the development of innovative risk management strategies. These strategies will not only safeguard our operations, but also provide the foundation for the creation and launch of new product offerings. This role goes beyond traditional risk management; it's about enabling the sustainable growth of our business while setting the stage for future innovations.

**What you'll do**

As our **Product Manager** for **Risk**, you'll have an instrumental role in driving our risk management strategy and ensuring the business stays sustainable, even as we grow and innovate. Here's what you can expect to do:

- Risk Assessment: Keep a pulse on our risk landscape, identifying and understanding the unique risks in our business. Make sure our risk acceptance rate stays healthy while keeping default levels manageable and sustainable for the business.
- Product Development: Drive the development of new risk capabilities. This will lay the foundation for building innovative products that can transform how we do business and serve our customers.
- Strategy and Vision: Stay aligned with our business plan and risk goals. You will communicate and influence risk management strategy and its integration into our long-term growth plans.
- Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Lead cross-functional teams effectively, fostering collaboration, clear ownership, and project success.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly reassess risk strategy, incorporating learnings, and pivoting plans as needed. Identify and implement improvements to our risk management practices.

**What you’ll need**
- Significant experience in product management roles, with a strong focus on risk management in the fintech or online consumer industry.
- Proven track record of driving risk-based projects, leading a product team, and launching new risk features and tools.
- Deep understanding of financial products, technologies, and platforms, particularly from a risk perspective.
- Data-driven and outcome-focused mindset. You should be comfortable making decisions based on data and focused on the impact of these decisions.
- Fluent English proficiency.
- Proven ability to connect with people involved, work as a link, and provide support for them.
- Proactive, accountable, and pragmatic. You need to have a high attention to detail and strong product ownership.
- A strong team player and communicator. We're looking for someone who is motivated to learn, grow, and drive change within our organization.
