As a Purchasing Assistant at Cathelco, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to place supplier orders based on purchase requests, ensuring a seamless flow of stock, servicing the department, and fulfilling customer orders. Additionally, you will be instrumental in maintaining an updated article and supplier database within our internal software.
- Place and monitor supplier orders to meet inventory needs.
- Conduct thorough checks on purchase prices to optimize cost-effectiveness.
- Keep the database current and accurate.
- Request quotations and price lists from suppliers.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Effectively manage non-conformities and implement corrective measures.
- Oversee and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.

**Internal/External Working Relationships**: Situated at the heart of our supply chain, you will interact with all members of the Palma and Antibes teams to foster collaborative relationships.

**Specific Professional Knowledge**:

- Proficient in office automation tools, particularly Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated rigor and precision in processing information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a purchasing or related role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
