**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Governance & Conduct Manager **, you will contribute actively to the management of SCIB’s risks with Codes, Standards and Rulebooks. The position will be responsible of maintaining an appropriate governance & oversight of the Regulatory and Control functions across SCIB geographies regarding Codes, Standards and Rulebooks.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Coordinate local RAC units (or equivalent) across CIB geographies ensuring the Guideline for compliance with Market Codes, Standards and Rulebooks is embedded locally
- Support local RAC units (or equivalent) in their ownership and updating of assessments against Market Codes, Standards and Rulebooks. Support, check and challenge. Include ALCOs if required.
- Metrics to provide ongoing assurance with compliance with Market Codes, Standards and Rulebooks:

- Align metrics reporting for Conduct Risk with metrics requirements for Market Codes, Standards and Rulebooks. Supplement these with additional metrics.
- Manage the build of metrics dashboards in ABM/ABC
- Support BAU metric provision by the geographies (and ALCOs if required)
- Front Office support and engagement
- Support Front Office with their compliance with Market Codes, Standards and Rulebooks. Working with Business Management and local RAC consult Front Office across the SCIB locations on both the local and global challenges and opportunities that these Market Codes, Standards and Rulebooks bring.
- Ensure Head of Markets in each geography provide an annual attestation to the assessments of compliance with Market Codes, Standards and Rulebooks
- Ensure external attestations / statements of compliance are appropriately approved and submitted
- Action tracking and Support
- Provide support to local RACs or other action owners in closing their actions, as required
- Track to closure the actions resulting from Global Standards workstream Market Codes and Standards
- Training
- Collaborate with Compliance 2LoD in training development and global rollout on training for Market Codes, Standards and Rulebooks.
- Ensure local RACs are providing nominations for SCIB locations (and ALCO Madrid if required).
- Refine Global Standards workstream Market Codes and Standards and incorporate Rulebooks into it.

EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory matters, business line, compliance, control department or internal audit.
- Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing business area and their role in managing them.
- Experience carrying out appropriate contingency planning and balances risk impact with delivery of business as usual.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor Business Administration / Economics / Engineering / Law

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge of the CIB Business, in particular markets area, structure of the Division and geographies.
- Knowledge of markets activities and rulebooks.
- Ability to work with different cultures and interact with different people within the organization.
- High level of English
- Good office knowledge, including Excel and Powerpoint
