We are looking for an exceptional **Product Development Expert **who will be responsible for developing new products for zooplus' private labels. Being a part of a very strategic area of the business - the **Own Brands Food** team, you will be one of the main drivers of continuous expansions of your products, thus, setting zooplus apart from its competitors.

Are you ready for this challenge?

As a **Product Development Expert**, you will take care of:

- Analysis of top-selling products / flavors / trends
- Clear overview of all own brands and groups of brands, quality tiers, types of food (up to Product Group 3 level)
- Understanding the impact of ingredients on the organoleptic parameters of the product
- Manufacturer tendering and selection
- Review and approval of the product texts of the master store article, especially with regard to the applicable feed law
- Contact for the explanation of veterinary contexts for the product management
- Support of the Senior Private Label Expert

**Qualifications**:

- First experience (ideally 3 years) of relevant work experience in pet retail or product development for a pet food manufacturer.
- Knows the relevant NPD processes
- Experience in the cooperation and management of external agencies
- Knowledge of the pet industry as well as animal nutrition according to common standards (FEDIAF, AAFCO)
- Good knowledge of feed regulations and the implications on marketing claims
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
