**Description**

We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead the IBE team reporting directly to the Managing Director, Newshore and matrix line to the CTO. The Newshore Engineering team develops a specialized SaaS ecommerce solution for airlines, enabling them to become leading digital retailers of travel products by providing an excellent Customer Experience. FLYR solutions are low-code, allowing for the quick implementation of new products, campaigns, and promotions. They also facilitate A/B testing experiments, data collection of metrics, and integration with various Passenger Service System (PSS), payment methods, and other business partners.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product teams and internal stakeholders to drive the engineering efforts
- Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement
- Build and retain a world-class engineering team through mentorship, guidance, and career development
- Create a strong engineering culture that attracts talent
- Scale the organization by fostering autonomous teams

**Requirements**:
**About You**
- Deep understanding and expertise with Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- 8+ years of leadership experience in software development
- Proven track record in creating, motivating, and growing teams
- Extensive experience working with distributed teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-engineering stakeholders
- Strong technical background in building and managing infrastructure at scale
- English speaking
