**Job Describtion**:
As a Head of Engineering, you will work alongside the entire Tokeny tech team to create the next generation of Tokeny’s infrastructure, ensuring it meets industry standards and remains robust. You will have the opportunity to work on emerging and ever changing technologies (hybrid blockchain networks, emerging blockchain capabilities) and to participate in the creation of bigger ecosystems (ONCHAINID, DINO ).
As a key member of our leadership team, the Head of Engineering will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and resilience of our technology infrastructure and overseeing efficient incident response processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive engineering strategy in collaboration with the CTO, tech leads and management team.
- Drive the development of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that meet customer needs and business requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Establish and maintain best practices for software development, quality assurance, and project management.
- Champion agile methodologies and best practices within the engineering team, promoting a culture of agility, flexibility, and continuous delivery. Ensure that development processes are efficient, transparent, and well-documented.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to deliver successful outcomes.
- Directly report to the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and keep him informed on the progress, challenges, and opportunities within the engineering department.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**:

- 5+ years of post-academic experience in a software engineering role.
- 3+ proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably as a Head of Engineering or Director of Technology.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Demonstrated success in driving technological innovation within an organization.
- Previous experience in finance and blockchain is a plus.
- Fluent in English.

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Experience with SaaS to on-premise hosting migration.
- Software development experience in Node.js.
- In-depth knowledge of incident response frameworks, tools, and best practices.
