In this newly created permanent full-time Senior Pension Project Administrator role (ideally a few days on site but this is negotiable and can be discussed depending on circumstances and role) you will be responsible for supporting the Administration team in delivering technical administration projects and calculations across a defined Benefit Scheme. This role will particularly suit you if you have strong Defined Benefit scheme administration experience along with a background in GMP reconciliation and/or scheme administration as you will be responsible for assisting in the rectification and conversion of GMP's.
Reporting to the Pensions Administration Manager you will also liaise with Pension Administration and Member Services teams, Scheme Actuaries and advisors, Third Party systems providers and the company Technology area, and be an integral part of the administration function, preparing and analysing data, calculations and letters/reports for review by colleagues, assisting in the processing and delivery of Annual Scheme Events and Technical projects e.g. Year-end, Pension Increases, Benefit Reports and other ad hoc projects. You will also process/review benefit calculations and member casework to a high standard within SLA, ensure high quality assurance standards and undertake quality assurance checks, review and document administration team processes and provide support and training to the administration teams and member services teams.
You will ensure you are up to date with prevailing UK pension's legislation thus enabling you to undertake technical benefit calculations. A background in GMP reconciliation and/or DB Pensions scheme administration will help you jump into this role, and with a salary in the £40's you should be able undertake the role with ease, which may then allow for more flexibility in where you are working.
