**Service Manager**:

In this role you will implement Service strategy and drive Service growth at the respective unit level. And lead the Service organization and is responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and to optimize the utilization of service resources.

**This position reports to**:
Manufacturing Unit Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Creates and drives implementation of service strategy as a member of the management team.
- Ensures that strategic plans are implemented consistently in the service organization through collaboration with other businesses.
- Executes service and sales channel strategy within own area of responsibility.
- Implements productized service offerings and materials for marketing purposes and invests in service sales to increase market penetration.
- Builds sustainable customer relationships to ensure growth, satisfaction, and retention of customers together with sales.
- Supports sales resources in customer meetings.
- Drives consistent development of processes and practices based on customer feedback (Net Promoter Score, NPS).
- Ensures customer focus, understanding of sense of urgency and care in responsibility.
- Drives, implements, reports and monitors performance targets as part of the respective unit P&L (financial, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, etc.).
- Runs the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity.
- Implements agreed delivery and performance standards to ensure consistency in quality and customer satisfaction.
- Invests in improving the quality of existing service products and in developing new service products to expand the portfolio in line with global direction.
- Drives continuous improvement culture and the implementation of improvements to achieve service excellence and increase profitability in the own area of responsibility.
- Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates.
- Improves service availability, provides training, and develops capabilities and competencies.
- Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Accountable to build an effective, capable, and high-performing Organization.

**Your background**:

- At least 10 years of experience in Service management positions in industrial environments.
- Sound knowledge of Gearless Mill Drives (GMDs) / Ring Motors and the relevant market.
- People focused and business growth mindset are essential.
- An engineering university degree and master’s in business administration.
- High level of Spanish and English
- Current work permits valid in Spain and availability to work in our Bilbao (Galindo) location.
