Role Purpose

This position will ensure the high quality and consistent delivery of Lab services across Pharmaceutical Office site that includes Laboratory. It will oversee operations that support client team/operations in the performance of services in support of research and/or development laboratories. Operations may include, but are not limited to, research consumables supplies, lab logistics and moves, shipping and receiving, glassware washing, autoclaving, mail services, waste stream management, chemical, gas, and reagent management, media and buffer preparation, and inventory management. Liaise with client researchers and support personnel to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction and support to enable client scientific operations.

**Laboratory Assistant Duties**: Proactively perform lab services Scope of Work (SOW) for the account, implementing client standard processes and procedures, ensuring superior customer satisfaction, sustaining a safe work environment, and demonstrating productivity.
Oversight of shipping/receiving program, glass washing/autoclaving program, inventory management, gas/chemical management, and emergency response management.
Establish and maintain close liaison with subcontractors, JLL and client staff to facilitate quality, cost-effective procurement, and delivery of research materials.
Meet all safety and other compliance requirements in execution of all work.
Drive adherence to established processes and demonstrate agility and creativity to meet dynamic business needs.
Provide and submit information in support of client business and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement strategic and communication initiatives with the operational team and client to ensure business alignment.
Escalate risks throughout the organization appropriately.
Work with JLL Supply Chain and sourcing in support of securing vendors that are compliant with JLL requirements.
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements EssentialSuperior Technician Degree in Scientific Discipline (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry) or a related field or equivalent experience in a similar role
Minimum two years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or research experience in the scientific service field.
Demonstrating working knowledge of Laboratory equipment and other technical systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish); also, an active listener
Quality Management knowledge and experience
