- In the division we have a global T&O that is delivering several transformational projects, such as new Global Banker Platform, Data Strategy, Cybersecurity framework, Public Cloud Implementation, among others.

- WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- As a WM&I GLOBAL CDO, you will Manage the WM&I data management function. Implement data projects and lead and oversee the implementation of global policies and standards, fostering the use of data as an asset for the area.
- We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Define and develop the WM&I data management strategy, working together with the subsidiaries and countries:- Receive information from subsidiaries to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and Group general risk appetite.-
- Ensure approval for the WM&I data management strategy (including the adjustments needed to the Group's data management framework, policies and standards) in the division bodies.-
- Overall management of the data lifecycle, ensuring data governance and control:- Define WM&I data architecture and requirements that enable the IT infrastructure to be appropriate for the division data strategy, risk management policies and regulatory guidance. This definition is carried out in cooperation with the division technology responsible, business and other functions, to define and develop analytical and reporting capabilities.-
- Management of data governance and quality, and self-assessment of data processes; and identification and leadership of the resolution of any major gaps, to ensure the integrity of customer data.-
- Lead and foster aspects of data governance and management that impact several WM&I entities, including global data projects; coordinating the Group wide implications of data for projects with local CDOs and other division T&O functions.-
- Identify, select, develop and ensure the correct use of global data management tools.-
- Monitor compliance with global data management standards, reporting to the appropriate governing bodies on:- Data quality, including accuracy, reliability, completeness, adaptability, timeliness, frequency and the availability of reputable sources for each type of data.-
- Data management processes, including timeliness, clarity, usefulness, governability, distribution, security and access.-
- Management of the WM&I organization of data management and supporting the digital transformation through involvement in transformation projects, and ensuring that data is both customer-centric and business-centric- EXPERIENCE- 10+ years of experience in large scale technology environments. Experience in the financial/banking industry.- EDUCATION-
- SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE- Advanced knowledge of data architectures and associated technologies related to data.-
- Hands-on experience working with data technologies, designing solutions and patterns, and developing projects with them.-
- Knowledge and experience with big data architectures and associated technologies-
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape within Global Bank / Financial Services.-
- Able to provide thought leadership to a sophisticated financial services business-
- Strategic understanding of Financial Services business models-
- Programming skills in Python and SQL-
- ETL and/or data wrangling techniques.-
- Familiarity using cloud platforms-
- Advanced English-
- Exceptionally talented communicator with the ability to translate complex IT-Data technical language into a clear business strategy-
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.-
