Responsible for the research, development, planning, and implementation of policies and practices designed to enhance the organizations relationship with the community and employees through print, audio, video, electronic and other communication mediums. Coordinate the distribution of the company¿s messages to internal and external audience to meet communication program objectives. Act as the organizations representative to community and news media. Under direct supervision, performs routine assignments as an entry level professional. Develops core job competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems. Typically requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

**Duties**:

- Publicize Force Support functions/programs by updating official public web page, Commanders AFN channel and marquee.
- Provide on-site support as directed.
- Provide creative and accurate publicity material using appropriate software programs and other media from the information provided by activity managers.
- Produce a monthly Power Point slide detailing upcoming Force Support activities.
- Publicize events to customers using all available media.
- Provide up to six hours of photography support for events and incorporate photos into publicity media and/or Commander’s Call presentation.
- Post flyers on appropriate bulletin boards.
- Publicize events at least 10 days before the event or no later than the date requested by the government. If the event occurs less than 10 days after receipt of publicity request, publicize event within one day after receiving event information.
- Provide guidance/instruction/training to Government or contractor personnel on computer related concerns regarding IT systems need for DFAC and other contractor-operated activities in this chapter. This shall include software upgrades into current and any required systems supported.
