To face the next challenges, we are looking for an IT support technician

Tareas

As an IT support technician, you will join our tech team and work directly with our Head of Information Technology & Security at the papernest offices in Barcelona. You will be required to:

- Support of our end-users IT needs
- Setup, maintenance and repair of workstation hardware and software
- Systems and network monitoring
- Issue and request escalation
- IT equipment inventorying
- IT documentation

**Requisitos**:

- Strong English language proficiency, equivalent to a CEFR C1
- Associate's degree in a field related to IT or equivalent experience
- At least two years of experience as an IT support technician doing:

- End-user support through ticketing
- Workstation hardware and software setup, maintenance and repair
- Troubleshooting for software, hardware and layer 1 and 2 network issues
- IT inventory management
- IT documentation
- End-user guides and training
- Fundamental systems administration knowledge of:

- Microsoft AD DS
- Cloud computing
- PowerShell
- SSO
- MDM
- Fundamental network administration knowledge of:

- The TCP/IP model (especially layers 1, 2 and 3)
- DHCP
- DNS
- VLAN
- VOIP
- SSL and IPSEC VPN
- Fundamental IT security knowledge of:

- ISO27K
- Firewall policies and rules
- Network and system access control best practices
- Fundamental ITIL knowledge of:

- IT documentation
- IT best practices

Your manager will be Pol, our Head of Information Technology & Security.After 7 years working in different companies in roles ranging from networking and systems engineering and administration to IT consulting and management, he decided to join papernest for his next professional chapter. What best defines Pol as a professional is his commitment, diligence and resourcefulness. On a Sunday you can find him hiking somewhere remote, reading about the tech world or studying something new.
