Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is looking for a **SHORT TERM MARKETS JUNIOR TRADER **, based in our Madrid office.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **STM Trader **you will **be trading a wide range of short term products including Short Term Interest Rate Swaps, Repos and Cash Bills.**

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Pricing short term products to clients
- Quoting cash bills and derivatives on market platforms
- Covering desk shorts in repo on a daily basis
- Automating and optimising internal processes
- Performing market and client trend analysis
- Supporting the development of algorithmic strategies in different products

EXPERIENCE
- No previous experience required

EDUCATION
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar
- Master’s in quantitative finance and/or data science is a plus
- CFA or similar qualification is a plus

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Programming skills: Python or similar
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in other languages is a plus
- Team player with strong communication skills
