Position Summary
To strengthen our Global IT Hub in Barcelona, we are looking for an **IT BI Tools & Platforms Product Manager **within our **Analytics, Data and Integration **(ADI) team. In this position, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Business intelligence Tools and Platforms at Nestlé. Working closely with IT, Analytics Service Lines and Business teams you will specify, plan, design, develop, deploy and sustain high-performing business intelligence platforms. You’ll drive industry leading adoption of BI platforms, reaching the entire Nestlé workforce and beyond. Enabling our organization to power every decision through trusted data. Governing the technology roadmap, and ensuring the right balance between highly governed standardized content and decentralized self-service BI.

**A day in the life of...
- Engage with multiple stakeholders to determine the product positioning and generated value.
- Create and own the product roadmaps for BI Tools & platforms at Nestlé.
- Lead product owners, architects, tech leads and developers to implement features in the current platforms that will meet the needs of the consumers.
- Partner with external service providers and BI platforms companies to deliver best in industry BI tools & platforms that meet the diverse needs of different personas and business units.
- Establish and publish the frameworks to track and monitor the adoption, performance, reusability, compliance, cost and value of BI tools at Nestlé.
- Lead a diverse and multi-cultural team, with a consumer centric mindset to deliver new features unlocking business capabilities.
- Evolve our BI Tools support organization to deliver flawless operational performance (incident management, change management & performance management)
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of all BI Tools & Platforms at Nestlé (including the decommissioning of end-of-life solutions)

**What will make you successful?
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science. Or you are able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
- Experience leading 3rd party service providers and influencing software vendors
- Being able to demonstrate experience in Product Management
- A strong understanding of all aspects of Business Intelligence at an enterprise level.
- A deep knowledge of architectural foundations of BI Platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects (BO) & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI platforms incl. Tableau & Qlik
- A strong knowledge of BI platforms integration with data management, machine learning, data governance platforms, such as SAP Business Warehouse, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Purview, MS Power Platform, Celonis, etc.
- Most likely you will come from a data and analytics background, with 8+ years’ experience of building or managing BI Tools platforms at an enterprise level.
- Prior experience in establishing and managing multiple large scale BI solutions with high levels of automation and significant production usage.
- Track record communicating the value of BI tools & platforms to senior business leaders as well as translating the needs of BI consumers into executable work packages.
- Leadership experience is desirable, working with decentralized teams in multiple locations.
- A good understanding of data engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.
- Strong experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English.
- An appreciation for data democratization and the FAIR data principles.
