Lab Technician for Metal-air Batteries

The hired Lab Technician will join a dynamic Research Team dedicated to the development of metal-air batteries at CIC energiGUNE. His/her research activities will involve the **synthesis of polymer-based electrolytes and cathode materials for metal-air batteries;** as well as** their physical-chemical, structural and electrochemical characterization**.

Main **functions**:

- Carry out synthesis of cathodes and electrolytes using different synthesis routes.
- Perform physical-chemical and structural characterizations, including XRD, SEM-EDX, TGA-MS, ICP, IR, Raman, etc.
- Assemble battery cells at lab level and perform electrochemical evaluation of the new electrode and electrolyte materials.
- **Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.**:

- **Ensure the research line has all the material necessary for fluently work.**:

- **Support the work in different research topics and projects.**:
