**Who are we?**

EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.

Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. We connect public and private actors and provide them with access to markets, talent, finance and knowledge.

Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

Our **EIT Urban Mobility Academy** a collaborative arena for lifelong learning, helping to build critical capabilities for innovation and transformation. We are training the next generation of urban mobility practitioners, needed by the urban mobility ecosystem of the future. Within the Academy, there are three main academic areas: the Master School, the Doctoral Training Network and the Professional training department (UMX, previously known as Competence Hub).

**Urban Mobility Explained (UMX)**, offers intensive programmes on hot topics in urban mobility and transport to work with professionals from different sectors, such as project managers, engineers, city executives and entrepreneurs, co-created by our partners in various locations in Europe. This lifelong learning initiative uses a variety of formats including light online material in a YouTube channel, online courses, and face to face courses (on-site, online synchronous or blended).

**Be part of a team where**:
As our new E-learning Production & LMS Officer, you will report to the Digital Learning Manager of UMX, and play a crucial role in:

- **Ensuring the smooth operation of our learning platforms**: You'll administer and maintain our different LMS accounts, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- **Contributing to the development of impactful learning experiences**: You'll be involved in new projects to improve UMX and enhance our ability to deliver high-quality online and blended learning.
- **Supporting day-to-day operations**: This includes various back-office tasks related to course delivery, learning materials, and data analytics/reporting.

**This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a collaborative spirit.**

**Technical Expertise**:

- **Platform Administration**: Manage and maintain our WordPress-based LMS (urbanmobilitycourses.eu), FutureLearn, and Coursera accounts.
- **Course Management**: Oversee the upload, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing online courses.
- **New Blended platform/courses in Totara**: Setup and administration of new types of “closed/premium” online and blended-learning courses, ensuring smooth delivery and learner satisfaction in Totara, a platform that will allow UMX to offer new types of premium online courses, which comply with the EIT Label framework and will allow UMX to be more sustainable).
- **Support to participants**: Manage various mailboxes to answer queries from users and learners.
- **Overseeing/managing current courses,**uploading/delivery of new and updated courses on the WordPress platform/FutureLearn/Coursera/Totara, as well as operating these platforms/accounts daily (interaction with participants/platforms/e-learning agencies/content-providers, course/participant data-analytics, administration of learner surveys, etc.).
- **Supporting UMX partners/providers** in producing and uploading learning content on these platforms, whenever necessary.
- **Supporting the production of any kind of digital content** (text, video, audio, interactive) for all our courses by providing technical audits (test before publication) to check the quality standards and guidelines are followed during production and post-production. For instance, testing accessibility standards so to comply with the new European obligations in force.
- Managing our media kits (one studio kit and 4 portable video kits) and their inventory. Supporting the E-learning Course Manager in the sourcing/purchase/delivery of all digital equipment (software, hardware, licenses, etc.) needed to produce and deliver e-courses and blended F2F courses.
- Tools used to operate these services; WordPress-Learndash, Microsoft PowerBI, Totara, SEO, etc. Tools used to support these service; Asana, Vimeo, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Accredible, etc.

**Collaboration & Project Management**:

- ** Managing contracts, invoices, and other administrative aspects** related to educational platforms and service providers (Requests for proposals, invoicing providers, etc.).
- **Facilitating communication and effective collaboration between external technical providers/subcontractors and internal EIT Urban Mobility staff** (Academy team, Finance, IT and Legal departments, Manage
