Industry Project Manager

Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning was established on October 1st, 2015 as a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture. Johnson Controls acquired a 60% stake of the carved-out business and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of this venture.

With this joint venture, two rich, 100-year-old cultures and histories have come together to create one exciting new company, serving our combined customers with the most diverse product portfolio in the air conditioning industry.

For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:
**Industry Project Manager**:
**What you will do**

Lead New Developments industrialization process, defining and tracking the project schedule and sprints, as well as to facilitate the process reporting and project organization and milestones achievement

**How you will do it**

As Project Manager, you will work within the business unit coordinating different projects and being the point of contact between clients, technical teams and the different operation departments to ensure objectives fall within the timeline, and budget set. Your responsibilities and your tasks will include:

- To receive development request and project background information and to define the industrialization project schedule following company development procedure
- To define industrialization project sprints, coordinate actions and follow-up with project team members
- Lead and coordinate the inter-department activities among the related functions for milestones achievement
- Support team members for roadblocks identification, and countermeasures/impacts definition
- Report out project status to factory management team
- Coordinate factory project output summary among all regional projects

**What we are looking for**

Bachelor Degree Engineering (industrial, mechanical)

Minimum of 5 years as a project manager

Experience in Automotive sector will be a plus, as well experiences dealing complex projects with press machines, heat exchanges, pipes, plastic injection or similar machinery.

Leadership and good communication skills

Experience of working in a fast-moving environment.

Resourceful and self-motivated, able to manage multiple deliverables.

A challenging and enquiring mindset.

High level of English
