**_Position:_**_ Portfolio Management Strategy Senior Associate._**

For this reason, we are looking for a Senior Associate with 3 to 5 years of experience carrying out similar duties to join our Portfolio Management Strategy Team in Madrid. **_ ¿What will you do on a day-to-day basis?_**
- Defining top-down portfolio strategies and oversighting their implementation across front-office units (portfolio management, loan and asset servicing, real estate, legal management ) balancing risk against performance. Ensuring optimal use of resources to maximize value and minimize waste.
- Designing and providing reports to senior management and stakeholders on portfolios performance, highlighting successes, addressing new challenges, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Identifying and fostering projects and initiatives that can drive growth and deliver competitive advantage. Strong focus on business plan modelling, data management automation, business intelligence dashboards, company backtesting and change management.

**_ ¿What knowledge and skills will you need to have to succeed in the position?_**
- Either an economics/business or engineering/math degree and finance background.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Proficient user of MS Excel (modelling) and SQL.
- Good command and willingness to improve Python and Power BI skills.
- Strong academic credentials and exceptional analytical flair.
- Previous experience in NPL secured or RE management is desirable but not necessary.
