**Job Description**:
The incumbent will be responsible for improving the efficiency of the Sales Team through delivery of a Sales Support function. The Sales Support Manager will be delivering a consistent support function to the Sales team across the region, proactively seeking continuing efficiencies in, and improvements to the service provided. Responsible for improving the efficiency of the Sales Team through delivery of a Sales Support function across EMEA.

**Reporting structure**:

- Reporting to the Commercial Operations Director

**Principal duties and responsibilities**:
**Leadership**
- Provide leadership to the Sales Support team.
- Deliver a consistent support function to the Sales team across EMEA, proactively seeking continuing efficiencies in, and improvements to, the service.
- Provide advice to the EMEA leadership on the management and improvement of the sales support service.
- Ensure consistency with the global model of the EMEA Sales Support service
- Develop a customer centric and adaptable culture within the Sales Support team.
- Promote a data quality ethos across the Sales and the Support teams.

**Functional**
- Ensure a consistent and accurate level of pricing & quotation support to the Sales team for standard products (including software).
- Develop a CRM data quality support and maintenance service for the Sales team.
- Create a first-level internal RA process & tools support function for the Sales team

**Business**
- Continuously seek efficiencies and improvements in the Sales Support service.
- Work proactively with the Sales Team, and Commercial Operations, to identify and develop new opportunities to reduce the administrative burden on sales teams.
- Ensure the Sales Support maintains excellent knowledge and skills on RA tools, products, and processes.

**Interpersonal**
- Provides a high level of liaison with sales teams, internal departments within matrix structure, customers, and distribution channels.
- Provides timely and accurate information to support effective management of the business
- Demonstrates behavior in accordance with Rockwell Automation values
- Acts with highest integrity in all areas
- Independent working behavior

**Experience required for Professional Level**:

- Prior experience in customer support with a technology-based organization is a must
- Capability to work remotely and on the telephone
- PC knowledge: MS Office Suite especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Daily use of CRM packages

**Experience required for Manager**:

- At least 7-10 years’ experience managing large and diverse teams. Preferred team sizes of 20+
- Experience of managing across country borders, and of a remote team
- Significant experience of managing through managers and team leaders (i.e. not directly)
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all layers in an organization.

**Required education**:

- Local language skills, plus excellent English language (written & spoken)
