**The Role**:
As Junior Sysadmin, your main role will be IT Helpdesk oriented, as part of the Infrastructure team at EXOGROUP, a highly skilled and qualified department with diverse responsibilities.

Together with the System Engineers, you will be responsible for performing daily support tasks:

- Installation, support and maintenance of the server hardware and software infrastructure
- Management of database systems (MariaDB & ClickHouse) and web servers (Nginx)
- Monitoring server and network usage
- Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of resources
- Planning and implementing future deployments
- Some 24/7 availability for critical infrastructure situations
- Contribute to team process improvement adhering to industry best practice and principles
- Participate in team knowledge sharing activities

This is an entry-level position, but integrated into the group-wide Infrastructure team, where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop System & Network Engineer skills by being exposed to all engineering tasks and taking part in some of them.

**You must have**:

- Basic IP networking configuration and troubleshooting skills (addressing, routing, DNS).
- Basic Linux knowledge, with some experience (preferably Red Hat based).
- Knowledge of macOS and/or Windows installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
- Excellent written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills.

**Considered a plus**:

- Some scripting experience (i.e. Bash, Python, Ruby).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and related management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Knowledge of web servers with PHP and MySQL/MariaDB.
