Global Workplace Solutions Senior Manager

The Workplace Experience Leader is a key Global Workplace Solutions and Services (GWSS) functional role within the EMEA Region. The role has full Real Estate and Facilities Management accountability for a number of sites and countries across the Europe region, including: - Operational and Capital budgets and forecasting, Capital Projects, Facilities Management (FM) contract(s), Real Estate Strategy, Client Relationship Management etc. within the commercial office space portfolio.

The role is directly responsible for ensuring that consistent and optimized processes and services are delivered to customers within the region.

This role will involve travel and a willingness to operate across a cluster of up to 10 countries in EMEA. This position ensures the delivery of GWSS services within the commercial office space portfolio to high levels of customer service and satisfaction for all occupants. The Global Workplace Solutions Manager is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships at site level and for leveraging synergies within the region.

This role will closely interact with a team of professionals and will be working in an international and culturally diverse environment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the respective GWSS Region Leader
- Provide an enabling and engaging work environment for Pfizer colleagues to do their best work.
- This role will deliver, improve, and promote customer experience solutions through effective management, oversight and coordination of Global Workplace Solutions and Services (GWSS) and vendor delivered services
- Be responsible for GWSS strategy deployment
- Supervise Capital Projects such as relocation projects as well as Real Estate transactions such as lease renewals or lease renegotiations in respective countries.
- Liaise with GWS Design Team on latest initiatives
- Develop and Support Real Estate strategies
- Be responsible for all Operational and Capital budgets in respective countries.
- Management of FM Service Providers and service delivery KPIs
- Support and operate all regional related GWSS systems such as, Reserve, BIG, Security, Business Continuity, Visitor Management, etc.
- Support deployment of Community Manager services where appropriate
- Balance concerns of business unit versus those of the overall organization
- Develop and present business cases for investment and strategic changes
- Provide rapid response to business units and customers through localised presence where appropriate
- Build new relationships with senior customers and GWSS colleagues/partners in the region
- Develop relationships with GWSS regional vendors
- Ensure customer satisfaction with GWSS and vendor provided services through delivery of measurable results
- Partner with Risk Management to protect and ensure business continuity within the region
- Take on special projects and assignments, as required
- Provide liaison between GWSS and other Pfizer Functions, including, Procurement, Digital, Legal, PX and Finance
- The Global Workplace Solutions Manager may be expected to provide GWSS support to additional countries within EMEA dependent upon workload priorities and at the discretion of GWSS Region Lead.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferably finance, management, facility management or engineering).
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration is desirable.
- Direct Facilities Management experience is required, including personal experience of managing FM services at a large commercial office.
- Essential requirements_
- Fluency in English, and strong cultural awareness of national and local diversity within appointed region.
- Experience of real estate transactions e.g., lease negotiation, re-gearing, etc.
- Experience of real estate related Contract & Project Management functions, ideally in a commercial office setting.
- Financial analysis and business acumen skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly planned and organized.
- Highly desirable requirements_
- Vendor management skills with specific experience partnering with expert vendors in the region.
- Ability to evidence working across geographic/country boundaries in Europe
