Full-Stack Network Engineer

**DESCRIPTION**:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, implement, and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud-based resources
- Design, implement, and manage data communication networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other networking components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure and networks
- Configure and manage routers, switches, and other networking devices
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance issues, proactively identifying and resolving problems
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs
- Develop and maintain system and network documentation, including network diagrams, policies, and procedures
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to other team members as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the IT environment remains current and competitive

WHAT YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel

NICE TO HAVE
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are highly desirable
- Experience as a T-shaped engineer, possessing deep expertise in your core domain while also demonstrating versatility across multiple areas of IT
- Proficient in German, both written and spoken
