**Role Overview**

We are looking for a hands-on, business-minded leader who can set the vision, build the roadmap, and drive execution for all Generative AI initiatives across the company. You will own everything from strategic opportunity mapping to model deployment and lifecycle governance, ensuring every solution is ethically sound, production-grade, and delivers measurable business impact.

**What your responsibilities will be**
- Define & Execute AI Strategy
- Partner with leadership to align AI objectives with corporate goals and KPIs.
- Maintain a prioritized, ROI-driven portfolio of AI use-cases and proof of concepts.
- Define clear success metrics (financial impact, user adoption, model performance, risk reduction).
- Deliver regular, data-driven updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Bridge Business & Technology
- Translate complex requirements into clear technical architectures, timelines, and success metrics.
- Communicate AI opportunities, risks, and limitations to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and credibility.
- Architect & Deliver Scalable Solutions
- Select best-fit models and solutions (RAGs, Agents, ML models), frameworks, and cloud services for based on the user requirements.
- Oversee full model lifecycle—data acquisition, prompt engineering, MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and responsible AI policies.
- AI Adoption & Change Management
- Run ideation sessions, workshops, and PoCs to validate concepts and secure sponsorship.
- Enable business units through training, documentation, and evergreen support channels.
- Mentor and lead the AI technical team
- Promote best practices, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Coordinate efforts to solve complex technical challenges
- Stay updated on AI technological advances and industry trends
- Assess new tools, frameworks, and methodologies for potential adoption.
- Propose improvements and explore new AI opportunities to boost business growth

**Who you are**

- Generative AI Expertise
- 5+ years delivering end-to-end ML products, with 2+ years on large-language or diffusion models.
- Deep knowledge of state-of-the-art architectures, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents frameworks, evaluation techniques, inference optimization, and human-feedback loops.
- Hands-on proficiency with Python, Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, vector databases, and experience is preferred in MLOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, etc.).
- Experience working on cloud environments, ideally on Azure.
- Strategic & Commercial Acumen
- Proven ability to build and communicate a Gen AI strategy tied to concrete business value.
- Experience framing business problems, sizing opportunities, and presenting ROI to C-level audiences.
- Leadership & Communication
- Track record leading multidisciplinary teams in agile / product-based environments.
- Skilled facilitator capable of running design sprints, demos, and executive briefings.
- Project & Risk Management
- Demonstrated success managing full project lifecycle—from ideation and experimentation through regulated deployment and monitoring
- Strong commitment to ethical AI, including bias mitigation, transparency, and robust governance frameworks.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare / Life-Sciences Exposure
- Familiarity with biomedical data types, clinical workflows, and regulatory constraints (GxP, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field (PhD a plus).
