**Working in the Data Team**
**What will you be doing?**
As a Senior Earth Observation Presales Engineer, you will be at the forefront of shaping cutting-edge satellite solutions for clients across industries and geographies. Working closely with our commercial and technical teams, you'll lead the technical scoping of EO projects, translating customer needs into actionable, high-impact geospatial solutions and data services.
This role offers the opportunity to influence the evolution of the Earth Observation industry and help shape the future of geospatial intelligence — all while contributing to missions that solve real-world challenges from space.
**What you need to be successful**
You bring a rare combination of technical excellence, commercial acumen, and a passion for space-based innovation. Your solid background in Earth Observation systems, whether Optical or SAR, is backed by hands-on knowledge of satellite mission design, orbital coverage analysis, and data exploitation.
Your success in this role will come from:
- Expertise in EO and satellite systems - You understand the science and engineering behind EO data and know how to tailor it to client use cases.
- Analytical mastery - You are confident with advanced modeling tools such as STK or Savoir, and skilled in turning orbital parameters into actionable insights.
- Geospatial fluency - You're proficient in image processing and GIS tools and know how to extract value from satellite data.
- Strategic communication - You excel at distilling complex concepts into compelling technical proposals and presentations.
- Customer-centric mindset - You anticipate client needs, speak their language, and align technical solutions with business goals.
- Collaboration and initiative - You thrive in cross-functional environments, take ownership of challenges, and continuously seek smarter ways to deliver results.
- Fluency in English is essential, and a history in EO mission planning or presales roles will set you up for success.
