General Accountant, Intercompany

**What You'll Do**:
The job evolves in a SOX compliant environment. You will assist in the delivery of SOX controls in a timely manner and with the expected level of quality.

Your role will require you to work closely with the Field Finance, FP&A and Corporate Tax teams in different countries, with whom you will maintain a good working relationship.

You will assist in ensuring that requests, pre-qualified by the front desk are delivered in a pre-defined deadline in conjunction with the front desk. You will also assist in ensuring that your monthly analysis respects the need for presenting data to our stakeholders.

As an Accountant/Collaborator, you will assist in organizing your tasks, ensuring that collaboration with other departments is fully mobilized and meeting the deadlines. You will be part of a team working for other countries, and have to be able to support and be the backup for.

You will assist in the optimization and standardization of our processes, support projects. This will also require a basic understanding of the specifics by country in which we operate.

You will report to the Intercompany Manager and assist in anticipation of topics that are covered, plus proposing actions to improve processes which will need to be prioritized.

Your tasks will include:
Daily:

- Assisting in the computation and supervision of the manual intercompany recharge
- Assisting in the control of Intercompany entries by rising and analyzing BI
- Sanity check on Intercompany and associated items
- Participation in projects
- Collaboration with treasury to the cash landing and cash forecast processes
- Assisting in analyzing variations and developments.
- Assisting in setting up and/or updating the processes
- Follow up the issues raised to IIT department
- Regular feedback with manager

Month end closing:

- Assisting in the review and recording of all Intercompany journals
- Assisting in recording of all accounting entries relating to catch-up, specific entries,
- Assisting in full reconciliation and documentation of both Balance Sheet and P&L positions related to Intercompany
- Assisting in the analysis of movements in all Intercompany related balance sheet accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of SOX controls
- Assisting in the analysis and understanding of all major variances in reinvoicing with consistency table

Scalability:

- Proposing ideas to harmonize & standardize the intercompany accounting for all entities
- Assisting in integrating new countries or acquisitions into standard processes.
- Assisting in new and key projects

Relationship with auditors:

- Collaboration to all PBC intercompany related requests and their appropriate analysis on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Other ad-hoc projects / tasks as appropriate

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum 5 years practical accounting experience
- Experience of working in a SOX Environment is a plus
- Basic working knowledge of SAP
- Experience of working in a fast moving, complex international environment is a plus
- Fluent English - any other languages a plus
- Results driven
- Ease with and curiosity about information systems
- Good communication skills
- Dynamic and Flexible approach to work
- A team player
- Intermediate excel skills
- Experience in Transfer Pricing Policies is a plus
