Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa, Mallorca is located on a cliff and surrounded by pine forests looking over the fishing town of Port Soller.

Its 121 spacious guestrooms and suites, all with private terrace or French balcony, enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea or views of the port and the impressive Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO Heritage site.

The hotel offers three restaurants, three bars, two swimming pools and our Talise Spa. The hotel is divided into eleven low-rise structures ensuring that visitors experience a truly exceptional and natural environment.

**About the Role**:
An opportunity has arisen for a Front Office Assistant Manager position to join our Rooms Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

- Supervise the staff of the main office (together with the FO manager) to ensure that guests receive courteous and prompt attention and personal recognition.
- Supervise the Front Office team to ensure optimal occupancy and average room rate with the purpose of maximizing revenue.
- Supervise reception and guest services staff (to ensure that priority members known as frequent guests and other VIPs receive special attention and recognition).
- Drive inter-hotel sales and own facilities. Supervise marketing techniques of the main office in accordance with the Jumeirah marketing program.
- Maintain good interdepartmental relations.
- Take overall responsibility for maintaining standards in line with Leading Quality Assurance, as well as Jumeirah stamps.
- Schedule and conduct periodic routine inspections of controlled areas.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Essential High School Graduates
- English & Spanish Language Diplomas
- Desired Degree qualification from a recognised hotel or business school
- Desired German and Russian language Diploma
- Front Office Customer service experience in a five-star environment
- Complaint handling in a Five Star Hotel
- Team Working

**Skills**
- Proficiency in spoken and written business English and Spanish.
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels of colleagues and Management.
- Pleasing Personality.
- Speak one additional language, German and Russian highly desirable.
- IT and PMS System, preferably Opera & Micros.
