Amazon is hiring a Buyer to be based in our corporate offices in Barcelona. As member of our Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) team, you will support the EU procurement and business teams by delivering operational purchasing tasks and assignments.
**MAIN SCOPE**:
To provide functional support to the Warehouse sites Procurement network for operational and administrative tasks. This includes daily execution of purchasing orders and/or documents creation, invoice and supplier master data management and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**:

- Meet service level agreements (SLA) for standard tasks (e.g. Purchase requisition compliance, Sourcing...)
- Achieving assigned project targets / objectives

Key job responsibilities
- Process daily purchase requisitions compliance, perform sourcing, remedy tickets and web requisitions
- Process invoice and general procurement related queries
- Point of contact for some outside vendors/manufacturers
- Administrates Purchase Order process
- Work in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policy
- Proactively manage and decrease the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure-to-pay process.
- High precision in verbal and written communication
- Previous experience in shared service centers advantageous
- Data analysis experience will be valued.

- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good judgment and instincts
- Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment, good time management
- Formal business administration or procurement qualification required Bachelor degree preferred
