Objectives of Procurement is to ensure stable financial performance and on-going supply continuity across its wide-ranging supply chains. Procurement is a key stakeholder within Symrise and it interacts with every part of the business, acting as a gatekeeper for any supplier led innovation, cost-savings initiatives, supply continuity, sustainability, etc…. This position is located in Parets del Vallés (industrial area) Define regional strategic sourcing strategy across pre-defined Flavor categories/ sub-categories, in alignment with tasks allocated between Global and Regional Procurement Managers/ Buyers Directly manage, supervise and coach the team(2) : Procurement / Inbound Planner Negotiate commercial and supply positions for defined raw materials. Identifies and negotiates regional/local supply agreements where appropriate. Coordinates volume forecast, market analysis and trend information in line with global best practices and category split. Source and approve new external / 3rd party sources (as required) and subsequent SAP PIR setup. Develop business relationships within key supplier accounts to manage performance, quality improvement, productivity, and service level. On top the Team Lead will be responsible for Strategic Procurement including Negotiations as well as approx.. 25 % of Inbound Planning tasks Degree in Procurement/Purchasing, Food Science, or related field. At least 5 years job experience in strategic procurement. Strong understanding of strategic procurement processes, methods, and tools. Experience in project management and transformation MS Office (proficient with Excel & PPT especially), SAP. Fluent English mandatory, spanish advanced.
