**What we do**
**Who we look for**
A Layout Engineer Intern to assist in the physical implementation of integrated analog circuits utilizing leading edge technologies with industry standard IC design tools. Products to be implemented may include power management, sensors, signal processing and data converters.
**Task**:
- Area estimation.
- Block-level floor-planning.
- Block-level routing.
- Layout verification (DRC, LVS, ANT, ERC).
- Layout reviews.
- Post-layout modifications and debug based on analog designer’s feedback.
- Import, integrate and verify integrity of digital design physical blocks.
- Work in close interaction with Senior Layout Engineering and Analog Design Engineering.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor/MS in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in analog/layout microelectronics.
- Has the ability to follow instructions/tasks according to design specifications/procedures.
- Basic knowledge of ASIC fabrication process and technology components.
- Good written/verbal communication skills and strong teamwork/collaboration.
- Knowledge/experience using Cadence analog/layout tools is a plus.
