**Job Description**:
**Do you thrive on solving complex technical problems?**
Crunch.io is seeking a Product Manager to help us build the next generation of analytics tools for survey data. The Product Manager for Data Infrastructure will define and execute on Crunch’s approach to data storage and security. Survey data has many idiosyncrasies not found in other types of data; we are looking for someone who is energized by the challenge of collaborating on optimizing storage and performance for these types of data. This person will be responsible for advancing our strategy for our data platform and query pipeline, as well as performance initiatives. Crunch has several strategic initiatives that span data ingestion, storage, and query, all of which you will lead.We are looking for someone who can help to develop and execute on a customer-focused roadmap. You should also be enthusiastic about communicating technical details to a range of audiences and well practiced in empathetic stakeholder management, including saying no This role will collaborate deeply with our design team and engineering teams. We are looking to you to cultivate a supportive environment for the workflows team and the larger product team. This role will report to the Vice President of Product Development.
Product Management, Data Infrastructure Responsibilities
- Deliver shared vision by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
- Discover problems with current data system; develop and execute on solutions
- Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of features & products
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of our product
- Research and understand survey data analysis trends, data extraction and refreshing, and data platform; leverage this analysis to inform Crunch roadmap
- Advocate for roadmap to technical and non-technical audiences; communicate clearly with both.
**Qualifications**:
- Demonstrated product management experience in database domains
- Experience communicating and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Experience developing products and solutions in analytics and business intelligence platforms
- Knowledge of the database landscape and ongoing awareness of advances in data science systems and technical tools
- Passion for communication
