**About the role**

Responsible for maintaining oversight and where necessary stepping into to manage grid workstreams during constructions.
- Project Management, responsible to ensure that all Parties (Cero’s SPV, High Voltage EPC, Owner’s Engineer, etc) deliver on contractual obligations, in relations to grid works.
- Responsible for oversight of all shared Grid Infrastructure (HV Substations, Underground Cables and overhead line). Coordination with Cero owners' engineers, Shareholders, and the wider team to ensure Cero meets its shareholder obligations. More specifically
- Attending meetings with other shared infrastructure stakeholders.
- Coordinating Cero’s response, ensuring that works stay on track and to budget.
- Responding and acting on any required design or contract changes.
- Managing and escalating topics as necessary to the Project Manager.
- Oversee interface with PV plant scope of works and technical requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring a suitable HV safety strategy for the Grid Works is in place and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to achieve this.
- Ensure EPC contractor performs the Grid Works in accordance with the agreement, owner’s requirements and health and safety regulations.
- Monitor financial aspects of the Works, in coordination with other departments, including analysis of variations and contingency usage.
- Responsible for oversight of main equipment, i.e. ensuring QA has been performed etc.
- Responsible for interface with the Owners Engineers and ensure that they are providing the support services contracted for.
- Responsible for the oversight of the interface of the grid works with network operator and other parties.
- Responsible for the oversight of the shared infrastructure grid works, including attending key meetings, reporting, and monitoring on works progress,
- Responsible for oversight of the grid compliance process from a permitting perspective. Management of consultancies and liaison with Contractor to request the corresponding documentation.
- Accountable for oversight of the plant grid related SCADA, control, and external communication solutions
- Liaise with appropriate colleagues and provide oversight of market interface activities, i.e., metering systems.
- Ensure appropriate design assurance activities are performed, to programme and quality.
- Support PM in ensuring all necessary hand over documentation is prepared for hand over to operations.
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback back and lessons learned to Cero teams.
- Construction site visits to ensure quality delivery of works.

**What will you need to succeed in the role?**
- Knowledge and experience in construction of substations and electrical infrastructure in Spain.
- Significant construction site experience in terms of managing contractors to ensure works are delivered to quality and on time.
- Strong project management skills.
- Commercial skills in terms of managing contractors as well as managing shared infrastructure shareholders to defend Cero’s interests.
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Strong Project Management skills, being able to demonstrate track record of effective stakeholder management.
- Self-motivated professional with excellent communication and analytical skills
