The Grid Connection Manager will be a critical link between Procurement, Business Development, and Project Management, overseeing the grid connection process and all related administrative milestones. Responsibilities Lead and control the grid connection process, focusing on the design and execution of evacuation infrastructure. Manage stakeholder communication with Distribution and Transmission System Operators (TSOs/DNOs) to secure grid connections for generation facilities. Provide technical input during negotiations at connection nodes to secure Grid Sharing Agreements. Prepare and manage connection schedules with the EPC team, and proactively alert Project Managers of potential delays or risks related to key equipment delivery. Assess impact of planning or execution delays, especially concerning shared infrastructure, and propose mitigation strategies while monitoring risks along the critical path. Assist the Project Manager with administrative processes related to evacuation infrastructure and flag issues that may impact timelines for PV, wind, or BESS systems. Support Procurement by estimating and validating costs related to evacuation infrastructure, ensuring technically optimal and cost‑effective solutions. Contribute to technical due diligence by evaluating infrastructure readiness and compliance. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience managing grid connection processes with Distribution or Transmission System Operators, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sectors. Proven technical expertise in grid‑sharing agreements, evacuation infrastructure, and risk assessment, with ability to coordinate across EPC and procurement teams. High attention to detail, proactive risk mitigation, and passion for driving successful energy project outcomes. Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to work in fast‑paced environments. Fluency in Portuguese and English required; additional languages a plus.
