**The Neighbourhood Team Leader role**:
As our Neighbourhood Team Leader, you will lead and direct a Neighbourhood team to ensure the delivery of a highly visible, proactive estate and tenancy management service ensuring that communities and neighbourhoods are desirable, attractive, safe & sustainable places where people choose to live & which they are proud to be part of.

**Key duties and responsibilities of our Neighbourhood Team Leader**:

- Ensuring the delivery of a highly visible and proactive Tenancy and Neighbourhood Management Service, dealing with tenancy conduct and support and ensuring the provision of on-the-spot assistance and advice with basic repairs and issues of concern to tenants
- Contributing to service improvements and standardised procedures for Tenancy and Neighbourhood management activities in order to maximise service efficiency
- Having operational responsibility for managing the team’s performance, producing reports, ensuring key performance targets are achieved and practice complies with legislation, policies and procedures
- Promoting a customer focussed culture within the team, ensuring officers proactively engage with tenants, initiating early intervention and identifying support needs in compliance with legislation, policies and procedures for example safeguarding and antisocial behaviour
- Ensuring that the upkeep of neighbourhoods is satisfactory and developing initiatives and strategies to deal with issues of vandalism, graffiti and fly tipping addressing basic issues of nuisance and facilitating and monitoring the delivery of support services within the area
- Ensuring that breaches of tenancy are actioned and appropriately followed up, in line with thresholds, policies and procedures

***What we’re looking for in our Neighbourhood Team Leader**:

- Chartered Institute of Housing Level 5 or equivalent
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Relevant experience working in Social Housing, including Tenancy and Estate Management or Community Safety and successfully driving performance to meet key corporate performance targets
- Evidence of promoting a continuous learning culture including mentoring and coaching individuals to help them develop their skills and achieve their full potential
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service
- Ability to travel as necessary to meet the needs of the post
- A commitment to the delivery of an accessible and supportive service where outcomes are based on a holistic assessment of the customers circumstances and needs
