**What you'll do**
- Develop and monitor credit rating/scoring models, assessing SeQura's potential risk through data analysis and building predictive models that explain the profile and payment capacity of SeQura’s customers. Document the models.
- Develop and monitor models of PD (Probability of Default), LGD (Loss Given Default), EAD (Exposure At Default), and EL (Expected losses) in order to properly estimate SeQura’s Provisions. Document the models.
- Set the data requirements.
- Provide support in both internal and external audits and validations.
- Communicate the results to different business areas.
- Communicate with a team of risk analysts and data engineers.

What you’ll need
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- +5yrs experience in credit risk methodologies in the banking sector or consultancies.
- Experience in managing large, complex data sets and using ML&AI techniques.
- Advanced programming skills in Python.
- Desirable experience in IRB and IFRS9 environments.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to think critically and problem-solve.
- A logical mindset and a natural curiosity for uncovering the root causes of problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
