Data Scientist

And this is our Data Scientist role for those who want to turn ideas into reality using code, algorithms, and maybe a bit of magic.

**Tasks in the role**:

- Clickstream-based approximation of traffic and behavioral domain metrics.
- Identifying gender, age, and other characteristics of the domain's audience.
- Categorization of domains by industry, theme, etc.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Specialized education (mathematics/physics/computer science).
- Deep understanding of machine-learning algorithms and methods.
- Knowledge of the basics of probability theory, linear algebra, and mathematical analysis.
- Ability to write clean Python code.
- Experience with databases.
- Ability to send and process HTTP requests.
- Work experience of at least two years.
- English at a B2 level or higher.
- Problem-solving.
- Creativity.

**A bit about the team**:
**The Pistachio Team** is part of the Market Research Unit, which develops products for domain traffic and market analytics. The result of our work is the data used to create reports and display widgets. We work with a really large amount of data and use machine learning in our solutions.

We treat data as a product, and that’s why we constantly try to improve it and make it better for the users of trends products while making better assumptions based on it.

**Some projects we want you to be a part of**:

- Approximation of traffic and engagement metrics of the domain (pages per visit, visit duration, etc.) based on clickstream.
- Determining the socio-demographic characteristics of the domain audience to build a portrait of the user.

We are a large team consisting of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Python Developers. Now, we’re looking for one more Data Scientist who loves and knows how to balance research and solving practical problems.
