**What you'll do**
- Design, develop and implement scalable Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models in line with Segura’s strategic goals. Document them.
- Understand business problems and convey them into data science projects.
- Work closely with data engineers to create automated flows with datasets that are needed for the models. Processing, cleaning and integrating large data sets.
- Work closely with business analysts and internal stakeholders in order to prove the effectiveness of the model-driven decisions, identify issues and tackle them.
- Keep up to date with the latest technology trends in the data science space.

What you’ll need
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- +5yrs experience in building ML/AI models, preferably in the financial sector.
- Experience in managing large, complex data sets and using ML/AI techniques.
- Advanced programming skills in Python and Pyspark, working knowledge of frameworks such as scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.
- Experience in working in AWS cloud would be considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to think critically and problem-solve.
- A logical mindset and a natural curiosity for uncovering the root causes of problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
