**Career Area:**:Marketing / Sales / Product Support **Job Description:**:As a Senior Development Engineer at Caterpilla r, you will design, develop, improve, validate, and implement dealer SOS Services fluid analysis operation solutions. Y ou will improve current processes, measurement systems and business systems for Caterpillar Dealers across the ADSM (Americas Distribution Service & Marketing - North and South) or EAME(Europe Africa and Middle East) Marketing Profit Center (MPC) regions. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: - Prepare Dealer Service Operations Processes to optimize product support fulfillment to the benefit of the Dealer and end users (financial, turn around time, quality of work improvement and overall increased satisfaction of end use r expectations with Caterpillar product support). - Conduct dealer SOS Services Standardization assessments by extensively analyzing the "as is" condition and building project and work plans to move dealers to achieve SOS Standardization. - W ork independently on projects to ensure successful progress and project completion. - Extended self-supervised and managed trips to Caterpillar Dealer and MPC locations across ADSM to provide expert SOS Service Operations analysis and consultation. - Provides similar support remotely from a home base. - Administer and deliver SOS Services Interpretation Training to Dealer and Internal Cat employees. - Deliver SOS Training as a part of the Condition Monitoring Boot Camps - Manage and update SOS Interpretation Training material, help documentation, and case studies. - Estimated travel up to 25%, both domestic and international. **Qualifications**: Basic Requirements: - A college or university degree - 5 years’ experience of specific SOS Services experience to gain recognition as a Divisional and company expert. - Active SOS Services Interpretation Certificate (certified within the last 3 years) - Able to function independently in a dealer setting and an administrative environment. - Proficiency using Microsoft O365 products. - Aptitude for problem solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both written and oral. - Able to cooperate with others and have good interpersonal skills. - SOS interpretation job experience - Spanish language capability to support dealers in ADSM-South - ISO 9001 Internal Quality Audit experience - Knowledge of Caterpillar products, services, policies, and procedures - The ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences. - Resolve sensitive issues, mentor and coach, and/or persuade others on new methods or processes. - Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaboration/cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit.
