**Commercial Operations Analyst**

The Commercial Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Spanish business in all areas of opportunity management and operations. They will provide support to the commercial and finance teams in ensuring opportunities are setup and processed correctly in order that revenue recognition and billing happen on time and according to company guidelines.

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Provides financial reporting to Finance and Commercial teams.
- Develops a strong understanding of internal and external revenue recognition rules to ensure revenue against customer contracts follows US GAAP and internal guidelines.
- Understands IQVIA billing process gives advice in complex matters. Acts as a link between Sales Admin/Commercial team and Billing team.
- Builds strong relationships with the sales, offering and finance teams to ensure queries are efficiently addressed meaning no delay to business operations.
- Analyses structured financial and operational reports to identify trends, anomalies and focus areas in order to achieve business objectives. Runs ad hoc analysis using Hyperion, SAP, SFDC and other data sources to provide business insights.
- Execution of local and regional operational processes and initiatives. This includes annual renewal tracking, CRM activity tracking, client segmentation and targeting and Enterprise Systems migrations.
- Challenges the current ways of working and provides alternative solutions to improve quality and efficiency of processes.

**Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required**:
- Must be IT literate, with experience of financial reporting or accounting packages, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Works well under pressure.
- Highly analytical with an ability to design, plan and implement process improvements.
- Ability to carry out detailed analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on non-routine matters.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Must be flexible and an effective team player with the ability to multi-task.
