We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic** Vice President in the TMT & Healthcare sector** to join our Telecom, Media and Technology & Healthcare sector team Team of ING Wholesale Banking
**Your key responsibilities**:
As a **Vice President in the TMT & Healthcare sector team** **you will:
Be a member of multiple client & deal teams involved in transactions which have a large impact on our clients. You work closely together with team members in Madrid and other locations, and with various product specialists across ING. In all your activities you will strive to meet client needs in the best way and beyond. In the TMT & Healthcare sector team your job is hugely diverse, but your main tasks consist of:
- Building client relations and maintaining continuous dialogue with industry leaders and sector participants
- Maintaining active contacts with other departments/disciplines within ING such as Corporate Finance, Loan Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Financial Markets, Transaction Services and Risk Management
- Actively driving and supporting deal generation, proactively contributing to the origination efforts of the team by driving sector analyses, presentations and pitch books
- Structuring and negotiating of transactions in which ING acts as lead arranger, coordinator or debt advisor
- Safeguarding timely transaction delivery and high-quality and seamless transaction execution
- Assessing and reviewing due diligence on clients in a dynamic sector
- Negotiation of transaction documentation with our clients
- Active involvement in the syndication or co-ordination of transactions
- Guiding, training and supervising Associates and Analysts in a deal team setting
- Monitoring portfolio management activities such as processing of credit reviews, waivers and amendments
**What are we looking for?**
We are looking for a pro-active professional with a strong personal drive, international experience and looking for opportunities on your own initiative. You have the ability to operate in a highly demanding environment, to deal with pressure and to perform under tight deadlines. You have a strong commercial drive and have excellent communication skills.
**Personal profile**:
- Ambitious professional with a Masters’ degree with above-average academic grades
- At least 6 to 8 years (VP) or 8 to 10 years (Director) of experience in the financial sector in an international environment
- Relationship-driven, people-oriented, finds it easy to make connections
- Commercial drive, ability to find out the preferences and needs of the client, to focus on solutions
- Good interpersonal & communication skills, strong team player
- High level of drive, self-motivation and professional approach
- Affinity with, and preferably experience in, the sector
- Strong project, time management & deal execution skills
- Preferably excellent financial, modelling & analytical skills, eye for detail
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbally and written
