**Scientific Project Manager - FLUTE**

**Strategic Projects Unit**

VHIR is seeking a Scientific Project Manager, with a background on data science, for its Strategic Projects

and mUlti-party computation Techniques for prostate cancer). VHIR leads the WP on Clinical Validation of

the designed solution and the Project Manager will give support to the Principal Investigator from the Urology

Research Group and collaborators from the Diagnostic Imaging department from Vall d’Hebron Hospital, for

Unit to facilitate and promote research and innovation international projects in the area de digital health and

health data across Vall d’Hebron Campus.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications: -**

University Degree in Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics or Engineering or related fields: i.e. health

science, business administration, etc.
- PhD will be highly valued.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 3 years of excellent scientific or management experience in European collaborative projects, preferably

in the field of health research, data science and management, data modeling and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Previous experience in Project Management: ability to autonomously coordinate project partners and supervise

project tasks and WPs execution.
- Excellent communication and influence skills, with a track record of communicating research data frameworks

to different audiences, and at ease dealing with senior international scientific and policy makers stakeholders.

Passionate about research and innovation and knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector
- High level of English and good level of Spanish or Catalan.

**Desired: -**

Knowledge on the Federated Data Governance Model and data harmonization modelling.
- Understand business prospects and identify opportunities for the development of new research projects.
- Knowledge of health data management tools and repositories: i.e. SAP, Redcap, Fundanet

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Innovative Healthcare European Projects Coordination: planning tasks, monitoring and evaluation, meetings

organization, oversight of deliverables and results of the projects.
- Preparation of reports for the European Commission collecting technical results of the projects, dissemination

activities, events and impact.
- Continuous interaction with other Vall d’Hebron Campus departments according to specific project needs (i.e.

the hospital’s Information Systems department, VHIR’s Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Unit.
- Act as bridge between clinical professionals and technical and operational units at Vall d’Hebron Campus,

facilitating common understanding and guaranteeing the execution of European Projects needs and agreed

outputs.
