As Key Account Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of Too Good To Go Spain by strategically leading initiatives and driving the success of the Horeca & Bakery Accounts and team. You will be directly responsible for managing 5 Key Account Managers as they focus in acquisition and development of partnerships across 2 verticals: Horeca & Bakery.
As Lead, you will report to the Head of Key Accounts, manage a team of five direct reports and will be responsible for driving the targets of each vertical within the country; ensuring cross-functional collaboration and developing the annual strategy for the team, as well as closing own national accounts.
**Your role**
- Managing the Horeca and Bakery Key Account Manager Team, with a heavy focus on acquisition and growth.
- Leading proactive business development and relationship building: ensuring there is a robust and healthy pipeline and portfolio.
- Lead by example Coaching, training, mentoring and working close to the team focusing on their personal well-being and professional development
- Implementing, driving, and tracking the success of innovative techniques for increasing account growth, opportunity research, planning and forecasting, and the support of global key chain roll-outs to help the KAM teams scale up
- Bringing in your tenured expertise to provide consistent oversight and improvement of team pitches, in order to help deliver high-quality and professional presentations to potential partners.
**Requirements**:
- Extensive experience gained within a Key Account Management or Business Development focused role, preferably in retail or horeca and bakery.
- Experience leading a Sales team in a scale-up or fast-growth business (experience in Foodtech will be a plus).
- Bring an in-depth knowledge and understanding of national commercial accounts.
- Experience in the horeca & bakery environment, food chains and canteens.
- Previous successful team management, being able to mentor the team on strong presentation skills across c-suite stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills: ability to train employees on how to lead complex negotiations and create and deliver high impact pitches.
- Excellent commercial acumen.
- Ability to work closely with our marketing team to develop unique value propositions for our accounts.
- Ability to learn fast and to handle a busy environment and competitive environment.
- Passion for sustainability and fighting food waste is a MUST - you understand the urgency of action for the planet.
