JBT Foodtech Spain is looking for our next GL Accountant to join our Global SSC based in San Fernando de Henares
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor´s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- 2-3 year experience in General Accounting & Accounting in multinational company.
- SSC Experience
- Knowledge of ERP Solutions (Syteline/SAP/JDE) and Hyperion or equivalent.

**Specialized Knowledge, Equipment, and Applications**:

- Strong Accounting knowledge
- US GAAP Reporting knowledge
- Transactional processes and problem solving.
- SOX/Internal Controls knowledge.
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Data Accuracy.
- Strong ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to perform under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Problem solving
- Planning and organizing
- Communication and teamwork

**Languages**:

- High Level of English mandatory

**The Opportunity...**:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform GL daily activities, with a teamwork spirit and creating good atmosphere within the team.
- Support on the daily operations of the General Ledger area: Reporting, Reconciliations, analysis, Blackline tasks
- Month end closing tasks: Reporting in HFM, Consolidation, Intercompany, Accruals, Prepaid.
- Used as GL Expert for all other SSC teams.
- Guaranteeing all general ledger transactions are performed under a strong internal controls framework.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in use so that US GAAP Financial Statements are correctly reported following JBT Financial Standards.
