The project

As General Ledger Accountant you will be responsible for the preparation and reporting of the financial statements of the respective companies.

What will the role entail?

  • Sales & Margin: Ensure that business margins are correct and optimal by carrying out the following tasks: validation of monthly sales and margins integrated into the system, and closing of purchases/retail (stock in transit, receipt of partial deliveries, and returns).

  • Online Business Reconciliation and Review.

  • Payroll: Posting and review of the monthly payroll entry, cost analysis, and control of provisions.

  • Intercompany Reconciliation: Posting of provisions and intercompany invoices, as well as monthly reconciliation.

  • Execution of monthly transactions and posting of recurring entries: amortization, revaluation, and others.

  • Review and validation of expenses and income recorded in the P&L to ensure that accounting records are accurate and reliable.

  • Tax Management: Posting and management of VAT returns and other tax declarations.

  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts.

  • Management of the annual accounting close and support during audit processes.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a General Ledger role.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
  • High knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Excel) and SAP
  • Fluent Spanish and Advanced (min. B2-C1) English. French will be valued.
