Business Data Steward

**Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a Business Data Steward that would like to collaborate with one of the top 15 global pharmaceutical companies.**:
**Goals**

Support Data Domain Communication
- Participate in Data Domain Forum
- Align with Information Modeler on relevant changes in the models
- Keep DDO updated on created, published and modified Data Products

Operational Support
- Align with DDO on incoming Product requests
- Create and update Data Products including business metadata based on cataloged data
- Create Policies and DSTs based on the requirements given and gathered by DDO
- Initiate Data Product publication
- Create and maintain business metadata for data elements
- Educate users/Data Consumers on principles, methods, and appropriate data use while showcasing the benefits of following Governance Policies

Support Data Quality Management
- Analyze Data Quality issues
- Discuss mitigation strategies

**Main responsabilities**
- Managing of the Data Catalog
- Create and update Data Products including business metadata based on cataloged data.
- Support a Data Domain in the process of implementing Data Products
- Provide functional expertise and assist with operational processes.
- Support the Data Domain Owner with any detailed information to optimize Data Quality.
- Work with Data Quality Specialist to build the data quality use cases
- Provide an accurate and up-to-date version of the metadata in EDGC for every asset in the corresponding Data Domain, in accordance with the Data Domain Model.
- Ensure that any asset accessible by EDGC is in line with the Data Domain Models.
- Educate users/Data Consumers on principles, methods, and appropriate data use while showcasing the benefits of following Governance Policies

**Tools experience and knowledge**
- More than 3 years working in a pharmaceutical company. Playing Data Governance roles related to.
- Understanding data, data structures and how data is related to each other.
- SQL - Mandatory
- Collibra and AWS - Nice to have
